Sidhu Moose Wala Shot DEAD: Mika Singh Reveals He Received THREATS From Gangsters; ‘He Told Me He Could Roam Freely In Mumbai Without Security’
Congress leader and Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala, on Sunday, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, a day after the Punjab Police withdrew his security. Reportedly, more than 30 rounds were fired on the car Sidhu was driving and he sustained more than eight bullet injuries. The singer was immediately taken to the Mansa civil hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Sidhu’s dead friend and singer Mika Singh has alleged gangsters’ hand behind his brutal murder.

In an interview with India Today TV, Singh revealed that received numerous threats from gangsters. Mika was quoted saying, “Four years ago he used to talk about threats from gangsters. Some gangsters might have tried to extort money from him this time.” He added, “Just last week he came to Mumbai. He told me that he could roam freely in Mumbai, without any security. Mika went on to talk about the Punjabi singer's immense popularity and rise to stardom. The singer stated that Sidhu Moose Wala was a huge star and that in just three years, he had made such a huge name for himself not just in Punjab, but across the world. Mika also demanded a probe and said the police and the government should take strict action against Sidhu Moose Wala’s assailants. 

Meanwhile, Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh in his complaint stated that his son was receiving threats from several gangs for extortion purposes. Lawrence Bishnoi gang was among those threatening the late singer. The FIR has been lodged under sections 302, 307, 341 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25 & 27 of the Arms Act at City-1 Mansa Police Station against unknown persons. As per the latest development, six people have reportedly been detained in connection with the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.
